Looking at my planner reminded me how many exciting things are coming up in June! To start with, I'm graduating on the 14th - true, I'll be getting my diploma in the mail rather than at a ceremony, but the important thing is that I'll have finished undergrad!

Less important in the grand scheme of things, but still exciting, is the Jedi June challenge, with prompts for every Saturday and Sunday. I've written the prompts down on my calendar and I'm going to try to fill them all! I'm considering doing something extremely self-indulgent and writing fic featuring my SWTOR character. I doubt anyone will be interested in reading it, but there are some ideas that have been bouncing around in my head for a while that I'd like to get out on the page. Sign-ups for the [community profile] kenobi_gen_exchange are also in June; I had a great time doing [community profile] maythe4thbewithyou, so I'm really looking forward to it.

June should be less stressful than May as far as schoolwork goes, since I'm done with my thesis and should be caught up on all the things I put off while working on my thesis by the end of the week. There's some major household drama erupting that will make things a little interesting this summer, but fortunately I'm not directly involved.

I'll also be posting a roundup this weekend of all the books I've read since March; I'd planned to make this a monthly thing, and I still want to keep to that schedule, but as with much else it was pushed to the wayside by the Thesis Beast. So stay tuned for that!

Congratulations on graduating, although I'm sorry that it's not happening with a ceremony. It's understandable, of course, but that doesn't mean you can't feel a bit of regret that you don't get the ceremony, and the speeches, and being there with all your fellow students.
