General Likes/Dislikes
As far as likes go, I’m a big fan of slice-of-life fic. I also like hurt-comfort, as long as there’s at least a little comfort at the end. As genres/framing devices, I really like epistolary fic, outsider POV, and pastiche. And as I suppose my requested fandoms make obvious, I love mysteries! I also have a huge soft spot for holiday fic, so please feel free to explore any and all winter holidays that fit with the setting!
General DNWs: hardcore BDSM (especially extreme D/s relationships), non-canon kid!fic/pregnancy fic, incest, omegaverse, or reader inserts.
Templar Knight Mysteries
I absolutely adore this series, and I'd frankly be happy with just about anything in this fandom! I requested Bascot and Gianni, but I'd be happy with Bascot and Gianni together or just Bascot or just Gianni. (I also love Nicolaa, Ernulf, and Alinor, if you feel like throwing any of them into the mix.)
I mentioned this in my sign-up, but my one big no in this fandom is any sort of romantic or sexual relationship between Bascot and Gianni, even if you're writing fic set far in the future.
I have a few prompts if you feel in need of somewhere to start, but they are totally optional and you should feel free to ignore them if you have another idea you'd rather write!
As a theme, I'm interested in the role religion plays in the characters' lives, especially Bascot's difficult relationship with the Church in the earlier novels.
I'd be interested in seeing a fic exploring what would have happened if Bascot had chosen to leave the Templar Order after all.
Gianni's relationship with the art of writing and his training as a clerk is another element of the story that I really love.
An elaboration on events occurring pre-canon - Bascot's captivity, or Gianni's frankly horrific childhood - would also be very welcome.
And of course, fluff! All the fluff is always greatly appreciated! Bascot and Gianni love each other so much, and that parental relationship is one of the bright threads running through the whole series.
Rosemary and Thyme
I would love something shippy with Rosemary and Laura, but if you don't see them that way, or would just rather write gen, that's lovely too!

Case fic, case fic, case fic! If you wanted to essentially write another episode, that would be fabulous.
Friends to lovers is where it's at with these two. I'd love to see the moment when they realize how they feel about each other <3

I requested Adso and William; I'd be happy to receive Adso and William together or just Adso.
As ever, the prompts are totally optional!
As with the Templar Knight Mysteries, I'm really interested in Adso's and William's relationships with religion - both in terms of belief and in their interactions with the Church hierarchy. There are so many themes I adore in this novel, but I especially like the discussion of the dangers of certainty.
Finally, I sadly don't speak or read Italian, so even if you're able to read the original, please write the fic in English!
