Hypnography, or Finals Week Tomfoolery

Currently preparing for my prehistoric archaeology exam tomorrow morning (I know, this past week was definitely the best time to make a Dreamwidth account /s) and reading through my lecture notes from this quarter. I came across the notes I took during the lecture the morning after I pulled an all-nighter - I kept dropping off during lecture and the notes are honestly quite funny, as well as being in handwriting so different that at first I didn't recognize it as my own!

Some gems:

- "alternate theory of state development in Peruvian coastal desert (desert)" - not sure why I needed to repeat "desert", but I'm sure it made sense at the time;

- a bullet point that just reads "one valey" – yes, misspelled;

- an odd little table titled "Time in the Andes", which includes the word "Inca" written vanishingly small inside the bow of the I in "Inca" written normal-sized - sort of like "Incanca";

- and a note indicating that a common motif in Moche pottery is "highly graphic" depictions of bowls of peanuts - this one is comprehensible, but the phrasing is just kind of funny.

I have that exam tomorrow and my Greek exam on Wednesday, but after that I will be polishing up and posting a few things (mostly meta) that I have in the works, so stay tuned!
