ermingardenNew liturgical year, that is – it's the first Sunday of Advent. 
And speaking of candle-centric celebrations: Hanukkah sameach! It's lovely that the lunar and solar calendars, plus the 7-day week cycle, all lined up this year so that so many people would be lighting the "first candle" on the same night, even if it's for two very different holidays.
