Diversity Index by Semianonymity is great and set in the same 'verse as "A Star to Steer By". I liked it so much I recorded a podfic of it.

a sunset on the road, reappearing by bantha fodder is another favorite crossover of mine - Dune x Star Wars, very short.

Is it possible to read "Testing Limits" knowing pretty much nothing about Portal apart from what's in the summary?

Yes! Luke doesn't know anything about Portal either, and the fic is almost entirely from his POV, which means the reader gets to figure out what's going on along with him.

It's funny because I wrote that fic thinking that only diehard Legends fans would read it, but it turns out, I've had many readers from the Portal side who also enjoyed it, despite not knowing anything about Star Wars.
